Having explored standard tuning the Martin D-41 was tested with some pieces in drop tunings. When taken to a low C the guitar responds very well, the bass growling and full, and the trebles retaining their sparkle across the whole spectrum. Slapped harmonics and tapping runs retain their detail and presence. The premium top has opened up in full and looks awesome This beauty is in excellent condition. No dings, no nothing. Her former owner treated her very well.
