The S50 Koa – Adirondack Red Spruce delivers bass, mids and highs big time. Yes, this is a small body. No, it does not have the volume of an O-model. But man, this is very good sounding guitar. Strumming, flatpicking, fingerpicking or tapping. She does it all. This Lowden S model has a more compact body that is comfortable both sitting down and standing up. It provides perhaps a more intimate Lowden experience and has a slightly shorter scale length neck. Thus the string tension is slightly lower which allows for even more easier playing (vibrato). Due to its size it is an especially great instrument to play while sitting on the couch or playing for a longer time. Definitely qualified for studio work.
