This Lowden F50c Brazilian Rosewood – Sinker Redwood is build with mastergrade tonewoods. The Brazilian Rosewood is very dark-colored and straight figured wood with nice clear stripes. The classy figured Sinker Redwood gives her a classy look. The top is made from Mastergrade Sinker Redwood. These tops typically display a rich optical spectrum as the result of colors uniquely imparted from silt and the mineral-rich water. The age and size of these trees translates into a tight grain with nice cross-grain stiffness and offers a fairly bold response, with a brilliance complemented by warm overtones similar to Cedar but with extra brightness and headroom. Sinker Redwood trees originate from California and are often 1000 to 2000-year-old. These trees are only used when they have fallen naturally.
