This Avalon Pioneer L2-20 is build with premium Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. All solid wood and a completely handcrafted beauty. An Irish built classic, with the classic Irish wood combination! Perfect for fingerstyle playing, but also performs wonderfully when strummed. An ideal tool for a singer/songwriter. The Ebony fretboard is bound, also with sycamore. The neck on this guitar is of a quality and construction usually reserved for the higher end Avalon Ard Ri range. The bridge is Indian Rosewood, with Ebony end pins. As with all Avalon guitars, this one comes equipped with a bi-flex Gotoh truss rod and high quality Gotoh tuners with Ebony buttons.
This Avalon L2-20 is in near mint condition. The original owner treated her very well so nothing more than some very light angel hair scratches on the top and pickguard. Stunning to look at, she is everything an Irish jumbo should be.
