This exquisite Martin OMC-28E comes with scalloped bracing and the impeccable balance of our orchestra model with a cutaway for upper fret board accessibility. She also has Martin’s Modified Low Oval with High Performance Taper neck. This neck has a slinky and fast feel, perfect for chording up and down the neck, or taking a solo in a live application. A very well thought out design by Martin. The longer scale provides a bit more tension under the pick hand, great for harder strumming and projection.
She has the traditional Martin OM-28 voice featuring Indian Rosewood back & sides with a nice Sitka Spruce top. Scooped mids, clear and round bass response, and a bright sparkle to the top end. The cutaway does not dampen or affect tone negatively. The longer scale length (650mm) and larger 000 body shape equal volume and sustain.
