This pretty Martin 00-18V Sitka/Mahogany is a great sounding and playing guitar. She is build with Genuine Mahogany and Sitka Spruce and has a nice comfortable body shape and lightweight. A joy to play and hear.
This Martin 00-18V Sitka/Mahogany is a great tone babe. She has the classic sound of the vintage 00 14-fret with loads of punch and a sweet, woody tone. She comes with a Mahogany Modified V neck and low action (2.5mm). Sweet mids with a nice bass response which is quite good for such a small guitar. The black Ebony fingerboard is beautifully crafted wit Old Style 18 Abalone dots and is a real treat to play. This is one of the first guitars from the Vintage Series that was introduced in 2003. Combines the look and feel of classic, pre-war instruments with modern improvements and materials like Vintage-style tuning machines, an adjustable truss rods and modified V-shaped necks
This nice Martin 00-18V Sitka/Mahogany guitar brings you warmth, clarity and embracing sense of tonal fulfillment, in an easy-to-hold, delightful to own short scale package that commands love and respect. Listen to the sound impression HERE. She had some minor issues with the binding on the waist that have been repaired. Overall she has a clean look. Some dings but nothing annoying. Around the Tortoise bindings some lacquer cracks are visible when looking closely. Nothing serious too and thus I rate her condition as Excellent.
