This Collings D1 T is part of the Traditional Series reflecting Bill Collings’ return to his guitar making roots and offers a new tonal variation on the distinctive Collings sound. The guitar is built using animal protein glue and a very thin, all nitrocellulose lacquer finish, making them exceptionally dynamic and responsive. More info in the Traditional series HERE. This 14 fret tone machine delivers full bodied tones in every register, unmatched by most other dreadnought bodies. Inclredible string separation and balance. A custom feature of the D1T is the select torrified Sitka Spruce top, which highlights the warmth and roundness of its tone. The sides and back are cut from Honduran Mahogany, making it not only beautiful, but reliable too.
