This Bourgeois Ricky Skaggs Signature has near the same specs as Bourgeois D-150 has except of Sitka top and Indian rosewood back and sides. The sound is quite beefy, typical of Bourgeois dreadnoughts. The action is very fast making speedy solos effortless to play. The Sitka Spruce top is responsive and more mellow on the top end. The Indian rosewood gives balance and warmth, and coupled with Sitka Spruce she offers a strong foundation, balance, quick response with warm, round trebles. Picking, strumming, she can do it all with great ease. Low action and excellent condition. This guitar is extremely well-built and voiced. No surprise since Dana is the expert on guitar top voicing.
