This Santa Cruz OM-42 Custom is build with a delightful set of master grade Quilted Bubinga, a tight grained Italian Alpine Spruce top and constructed with Hot Hide Glue for maximum power and resonance. African Bubinga (aka African Rosewood) is an awesome tonewood for backs and sides, thanks to its strong tone. It drives volume and clarity, especially in combination with Alpine Spruce. The Honduran Mahogany neck has a slight V shape, plays like butter and offers extra string spacing. Construction is predictably first-class, with quality materials everywhere. Top-notch tonal qualities put this babe where she belongs: the absolute top of the line! To top that off, we added the classic Abalone Torch to the headstock and the classic and royal style-42 Abalone inlay around the top. Just gorgeous!
