This model was developed and built by master Luthier Otto Vowinkel many years ago and sinde the turn of the millenium build in collaborative effort between Otto and Antonio Picado of Barcelona, Spain. The aim was to offer a concert level guitar at an affordable price point for student and intermediate scholars.
Model 2A is build under supervision of Otto Vowinkel and fully hand-built in Spain by Antonio Picado. These guitars are known for bringing high quality at a affordable price. This particular Clasical guitar is crafted in 2004. Model 2A features a Spruce top and rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard, and Rosewood bridge, Rosewood headstock veneer, and Quality tuners. the body is bound with rosewood and marked with rosewood-maple purflings. The collaborative effort between Otto Vowinkel of Amsterdam and Antonio Picado of Barcelona, Spain is one of mutual respect and passion for Quality. This is a guitar of great beauty, nice details, featuring a unique rosette design adn a stylish headstock design.
