This wonderful F50c Brazilian Rosewood – Adirondack Red Spruce is arguably the crème de la crème one can have built by the Lowden team. She comes with a comfortable soundbox bevel and a cutaway for easy access to the oh so sweet high notes!
This Lowden F50c Brazilian Rosewood – Adirondack is built with mastergrade tonewood. The Brazilian Rosewood is very dark-colored and straight figured with no knots at all. Not the wildly grained set some of us love for the look but truly Mastergrade Brazilian Rosewood. Extremely hard to find if not impossible these days. This is the best quality of Brazilian Rosewood: stable and resonant. The complexity of the tone, the overtones and clarity hits you immediately! Weight and stiffness make the guitar light and defined. This wood combination delivers unbelievably good three-dimensional qualities plus a superb clarity of the treble notes. After you hit the bass strings and move up to the trebles you are taken by the fullness of the notes.
Combined with the power and richness of the Adirondack Red Spruce you get an instrument that excels in almost any style. Adirondack is dynamic and rich in base tone and complexity. Also, this wood can be driven extremely hard without even the slightest hint of cracking-up. You can strum the top aggressively without distortion or loss of clarity. Adirondack has also strong fundamentals and responds well to either a light or firm touch but has higher resonance and exhibits a more complex overtone content. The top has opened in full and catches the ear immediately. A superb guitar in excellent or mint condition.
