Unique Lowden F35 70th Anniversary build with AAAA Cocobolo combined with a beautiful AAAA Sinker Redwood top and Maple sound box bevel for extra comfort. This combination of fine tonewood delivers a rich and open sounding guitar with tremendous sustain and lots of overtones.
This Lowden F35 70th Anniversary George combines one of the warmest possible tonewood combos. Cocobolo provides focus and sparkle and Sinker Redwood adds an awesome dynamic range from soft whispers to orchestral swells. Combined they offer with and immense, almost piano-like sustain. The Cocobolo set has spectacular looks. Cocobolo can be a bit heavy but George choose a light set, only 2.2 kg. Because of its lighter weight, this guitar is very responsive. Very well-balanced and great volume.
This beauty also comes with a Maple soundbox bevel for extra comfort for your right arm. And on top of that a special designed label handsigned by George personally. The label and the provenance document show the Pine Marten. This incredibly rare, native to Ireland, creature had set up home in the woods between the Lowden family home and the workshop at the time in Downpatrick.
