Awesom Jonker 00-42 Stagecoach! René Jonker is one of those rare talents that are gifted with golden hands. As a newcomer to the guitar builders guild, he builds fantastic guitars. René’s workshop is located in Alkmaar, The Netherlands.

René is an inspiring man and when he showed us a few of his instruments I was convinced by the amazing tones and the build quality. Jonker Guitars builds custom order instruments but also 5 classic body shapes including the 00 model.
This Jonker 00-42 features Cocobolo back and sides, a Sitka Spruce top, style 45 purflings with Abalone and Ivoroid binding, an Ebony pyramid bridge and fretboard with snowflake inlays, Mahogany neck with Ivoroid binding, Rosewood headstock overlay with abalone ‘Jonker’ headstock inlay, open geared Gotoh tuners and a square headstock shape which reminds of the Martin’s golden age instruments. This one comes with a special order Ameritage hard shell case with Jonker logo embroided.
