This Furch Vintage 2 00M-SR is a sweet and definitely surprising guitar. Opening up the case is the first surprise: a vintage looking guitar inside. Playing the Vintage 2 Sr is the second surprise. Not only does she feel comfortable, she is easy to play, and her tone is right out wonderful. What a nice guitar! Furch uses what they call a Vintage Finish.to hand buffing, the guitar has a pleasing patina reminiscent of traditional instruments. The individual finish layers have uniform ultrathin consistency to maximize resonance and, at the same time, to provide thorough protection for the surface of the instrument.
Combined with other features, such as a green abalone rosette and faux ivory binding, the design of the Vintage 2 SR breathes the image of a fine aged instrument enhanced by state-of-the-art construction technologies. Like all other Vintage models, the guitar features a solid-wood construction. A Sitka Spruce soundboard combines with Indian rosewood back & sides to produce a rich balanced sound.
