Luca Canteri Bariluke Madagascar Rosewood - Val Di Fiemme Alpine Spruce (2012)

Luca Canteri is well know for his high end classic and steelsting guitars. This is one of the few baritones he made on custumers request and its also a brilliant instrument. The balance of the guitar is fabulous and the fundamental bass tones are overwhelming like a Tibetan monk throat singing. Superb! The guitar is played and used for studio work but still in mint condition. The top is made from the famous Italian Val Di Fiemme Spruce. The Val di Fiemme is were Antiono Stradivari, Guarneri de Gesu, Andrea Amati and many of his followers found their Alpine Spruce for their famous million dollar violins. This region was later discoverd by steel sting guitar builders like C.F. Martin and George Lowden. Brilliant tonewood!!
