• Santa Cruz D/E Rosewood – Sitka

    Category: Product Condition: Pre-Owned

    Our price:

Well-loved Santa Cruz D/E built in 1999 and has seen a lot of stages and studios. She sounds and plays wonderful.

This Santa Cruz D/E is built with Indian Rosewood and AAAA Sitka Spruce. De D/E model is the precursor to the current Santa Cruz Pre-War model currently sold by Santa Cruz. It comes with a few extra custom appointments not available on the current model, such as upgraded ivoroid fingerboard binding and ivoroid body binding with black and white purflings on the top along with Pearl mini dot inlays on the ebony fretboard.

She’s an excellent vintage sounding and well-balanced dreadnought and like all Santa Cruz’ guitars she is incredibly responsive. This beauty is in very good plus condition. Some play marks and small dings on the top. Frets are in good condition and still good for many miles. She came in with a crack above the waist, due to a small accident. Nothing serious and our luthier did a professional repair and setup. We also replaced the original Fishman piezo with a fresh out of the box Fishman Matrix Infinity VT. Ready to go on stage for many more years to come. Listen to a sound sample here:
