Number One

This is my true number one. This baby came into my life when I was 17. While eating at a local diner with friends we came up with the idea of starting a hard rock band. I had a couple of lessons when I was 12 and suggested to play the guitar. We all agreed and I went out and bought this wonderfull 1976 Ibanez Les Paul model which was later to be know as the Lawsuit Les Paul because these instrument were exact copies of the Gibson Les Paul. She followed me all my life and was totally used for all sorts of electronic experimentation (three pickups, numeous switches, stereo out etc.). I played her untill it was impossible to play because the frets were totally run down. Last year my friend Rob suggested to use the guitar as a model to learn about guitar repair. The results are promising and she will rise again as a relic from the past filled with memories and music.
