This Santa Cruz H/S Studio is a custom order dedicated to studio and live musicians. Richard and his dedicated team of luthiers took the incredibly balanced, articulate sound of the H, added a cutaway, the LR Baggs Imix pickup (which records beautifully with its microphone technology) and added simple and elegant appointments!
The Santa Cruz H/S series is based on a body shape inspired by the old Gibson L-00, later L1, and Nick Lucas classics. This has got to be one of the most beautiful body shapes ever made. The LR Baggs iMix pairs the acclaimed fidelity of the iBeam with the presence and feedback resistance of the Element for the best of both worlds. The miniature preamp mounts non-destructively inside the guitar and features audiophile circuitry for our signature sound and gives you the option of running in mono or stereo modes. The electronics provide ample flexibility to fine tune the response of your guitar and a soundhole mounted remote includes volume and mix controls for adjustments on-the-fly.
