Patrick James Eggle Etowah Brazilian Rosewood - Adirondack

Admiration! That is the word that comes to mind when I saw this guitar for the first time. Admiration from an aestetic point of view is what you see first. Elegantly understated classic double-0 shape. Highest grade woods. The Brazilian Rosewood dates back to the 19th century and was originally used for a classic English book cabinet. Patrick bought this piece of furniture back in 2000 and build about 6 guitars out of the remains of the cabinet. One is owned by Jan Akkerman, the second is mine. Who knows where the other sisters are?

The sound is beauty is outstanding. Clean tones, very dynamic and ringing overtones in all registers. Top of the line!
