Lowden O35 Honduras Rosewood - Sitka Spruce (SOLD)

Wooow...what a bell like ring this guitar has to it!! No...its not Brazilian, but Honduras sure sounds like it!! Honduras Rosewood is a great tonewood. Warm, well balanced and exceptionally beautiful. This one has deeply veined spiderweb grain similar to Brazilian Rosewood. This is one big sounding guitar. This 'babe' really inspires to play. Honduras Rosewood has become increasingly scarse and popular as an alternative to the ever decreasing stocks of Brazilian Rosewood, it has the same warmth, clarity and balance of tone with even more projection making it an excellent choice for most playing styles. Indeed, scientifically speaking, Honduras Rosewood has all the attributes ideally suited for back and sides wood, in such abundance that science regards it as THE wood of choice for acoustic guitars.
